There hasn’t been any new confirmations regarding voice actors for the new ThunderCats series since the announcement of Clancy Brown voicing Grune, but we’ve done a little searching and found some interesting new tidbits. Dee Bradley Baker’s Twitter page has revealed that he is the voice of Slithe in the new series.

Like most of the already confirmed voice actors for the series, Dee Bradley Baker is an experienced voice actor who could be heard in various popular animated shows including the new Scooby Doo! Mystery Inc. and in a handful of episodes of Family Guy and American Dad.
With the exception of Robin Atkin Downes who is voicing Mumm-Ra, Slithe is just the second villain (as well as the first Mutant) with a confirmed voice actor. While we reported back in February that the rest of the main Mutants are confirmed for the new series, we have not yet seen them in either of the trailers shown thus far.
Corey Burton’s name has also been linked to the ThunderCats — as the voice behind Jaga. While we do not have any real sources that can confirm Corey Burton’s association with the series, numerous sites including IMDb has had the talented actor named as the voice of Jaga for awhile now. Fans who have watched and listened to the WonderCon trailer also claim that Jaga’s voice has a slight resemblance to Count Dooku, whom Corey Burton is voicing in the popular Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series.
With a little over a month ’til the series premiere on Cartoon Network, we’re hoping to get more confirmations of voice actors, including which character(s) Jim Meskimen will be voicing!
Keep checking back for more ThunderCats news!
