The folks over at TV By the Numbers have posted the viewership numbers for the top 100 T.V. shows from this past Friday July 29th. ThunderCats came in at number 6 overall with a 0.8 rating for the 18-49 demographic and 2.4 million viewers. In the context of it being a late night Friday summer show this appears to be a very successful series premier! Of course the series needs to sustain a good rating to continue to be seen, but you couldn’t have asked for much better numbers as the number 1 show for that night drew a 1.1 rating and 3.14 million viewers.
Its a great start for ThunderCats and both Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network have to be thrilled. We’ve got to keep these numbers up though, so please fans continue to tune in to the next ThunderCats episode every Friday night at 8:30pm EST (check your local listings for CST and PST) and support this extremely well done reboot.
